Bill:"You're cutting apart the entire US grading system based on the "meat man at walmart and the lady on the phone"?"
No, I am saying that the grading system in some cases (Walmart is the largest retailer in the world) is being circumvented after it leaves the packer's door to the detriment of the consumers (and producers). Real lies are being told to consumers and it is undermining the credibility of the grading system.
I am further saying that the people inspecting these abuses are hampered in their investigations as to whether or not this is happening by having to tell Walmart or other store managers who they are before asking the questions which degrades the integrity of the investigation into a fraud.
I don’t know if it’s possible to indicate strongly enough how incredibly wrong and inaccurate this statement is. To suggest the “lady on the phone” as well as the “meat man” (who has just recently entered this story), are claiming the product is “Choice”, and as such subbing Select for Choice and selling it as such.
I don’t know which will win you the yarn of the week, either this, or….
Your post from Tuesday, entitled “The Packing Industry's Dirty Little Secrets”, which is a 10 year old story about a disgruntled USDA inspector in a buritto plant……..
or your one from Wednesday, entitled “Is It Just Big Packers Protecting Inside Racism or What?” Racism is no joking matter, and unfortunately, still touches our society. But to suggest “Is It Just Big Packers Protecting Inside Racism or What” is truly a major disappointment, even for you.
Your intentions to discredit Walmart and Tyson knows no boundary. Give it up.
