Listening to the political talk a lot and a question came to mind. They all talk about writing new bills and I wondered is that really what we send them to DC to do? Aren't there enough allready?
I did some checking and found that from 1999 thru 2010 ....
33,873 bills were introduced with no action
6019 bills were introduced with some action
and 2627 bills were introduced and enacted.
How about 1 per congressman ??
In addition the federal registry is the log book of regulations and it is...
35850 pages!!
It's no wonder nothing works!
