Do you have someone in long term care?

Just wanted to pass this along, don't know why we didn't think of it sooner. The assisted living facility that my only living grandparent is in (she has an apartment by herself) gladly prints out e mails and photos....so we've started sending her a few pictures every week. She seems to get a kick out of getting "mail" and being thought of. And how much easier does it get than to e mail a photo.

That is good to know. I am sure many older folks will enjoy the new found conection with family.
When familys are so far apart what better way to let them know you still care and are thinking of them :D

When my mom was in hospice care we would print out some pictures taken on the ranch and family and take them with us when we went to visit. It was another connection to life outside of the hospital and of what we were doing at home. Thank God for digital camera's and printers.

we got my MIL a picture frame that you load pictures onto and its like a slide show, can't think of the proper name for it, but you can add to it or reload new pictures anytime, she really likes it
