Does abstract art correlate with abstract truth???

I've heard it mentioned that the rise in abstract art correlates with the rise in abstract truth. I find it interesting that the notable paintings of history portray something. The better the likeness , the better the painting. With the rise of abstract art you hear phrases of " what does it mean to you". There is no likeness to anything intended. It's some the same with truth currently. You hear phrases like " that's right for you" or
"what is truth to you isn't truth to me." I find it interesting. I grabbed this off the web from a satanist website and I think they agree.

Good point, Red Robin. Truth is truth. Lies are lies. Good art is good art. Bad art is bad art. Black is black, and white is white.

Modern abstract art was the visible manifestation of spiritual ideals

if "modern art" is "spiritual" is it a religion?

"Religion is a system of social coherence commonly understood as a group of beliefs or attitudes concerning an object, person, unseen or imaginary being, or system of thought.., and the moral codes, practices, values, institutions, and rituals associated with such belief or system of thought. It is sometimes used interchangeably with "faith" or "belief system", but is more socially defined than that of personal convictions.
