Does this explain liberals to you?

In a bid to stem
taxpayer losses for bad loans guaranteed by federal housing agencies
Fanny Mae
and Freddy Mac, Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) proposed that borrowers be
required to make a 5% down payment in order to qualify for a loan.
His proposal was rejected 57-42 on a straight party-line vote
because,as Senator Chris Dodd
(D-Conn) explained, "Passage of such a requirement would restrict home
ownership to
only those who can afford it."

I can't add anything to this...I just can't ! ! !.

I read the actual comments and the satire... concerning Dodd's objections..

while the satire is direct... what Dodd actually said was about the same...

from the same author... Dems Make Case for Attacking Syria
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) Admitted that “there's a lot we don't know for sure about what's going on in Syria. We do know that over a thousand people died in what appears to have been a chemical attack. Based on some You Tube videos, our best guess is that the Assad regime is responsible. Others say the al-Qaeda rebels are. The only way we can figure out who did this is to launch a salvo of missiles into Syria.”

US Secretary of State John Kerry pointed out that “Assad is a thug and a murderer. He deserves to be punished.” Kerry also cited Assad's 11 year-old son's taunt on Facebook as “persuasive evidence of the need for action.”

The Secretary insisted that he is “personally convinced” that the Assad Government was behind the chemical attack. “I'll grant that the opposition has committed it's share of atrocities,” Kerry said. “But their methods are more primitive—dragging people out of their homes and butchering them in the streets, disemboweling them, beheading them. Gassing people is just not their style. So, I've got to assume they didn't do this.”

the humor can't quite explain liberal thinking,.. but it helps US laugh until we figure out how to deal with them...

Once again Steve "you can't fix stupid"and it's getting harder and harder to laugh it off.

what I found fascinating was watching John Kerry explain why the UN was ineffective and irrelevant.. :? :???:

I can't wait for them to explain how having 44 nations of which 3 sent significant troops for the invasion force and overall 39 nations sent troops to participate along side US in Iraq, .. is unilateral ,... yet two countries US and France is a multinational coalition..

that aught to be a doozy of an explanation..  :? :???:
