Modus Operand (Methods of Operations)
American Communist Party
One of the fundamental mistakes made by non-students of the ACP is that they fail to understand how the communists worked both in the United States and the rest of the world:
1. The ACP members never but never shouted their membership in the communist party from the hill tops.
2. There were never any open or overt issues.
3. All issues were dealt with extraordinary and brilliant subtitles.
4. Links to the arts and the media were crucial but those links were mainly directed at the accumulation of money to further the "cause" world wide.
5. Issues which were supported would fit into the thinking of most American people, such as, "labor needs to be compensated more than it is".
6. Many issues advanced by the ACP fit totally and completely into the American sense of FAIRNESS.
7. "FAIRNESS" was the overriding position AGENDA of the ACP.
8.There were never but never any accusations against the American system. It was all sotto voco, all by inference, all by implication, all by raised eyebrows.
9. THE "FAIRNESS" ISSUE WAS DESIGNED TO HIGHLIGHT FAILURES OF THE AMERICAN SYSTEM.
10. No one in the ACP ever, but ever, called for the downfall of the American system.
11. Assassinate, yes assassinate, knowledgeable members of the ACP who pose a threat to the secrecy and infiltration of the ACP.
12. Kill all members of importance throughout the entire system who might pose a future threat because they knew too much.
"Almost every one was a fully committed Stalinist. They were good and faithful servants; every one of them. They did not go to their deaths because they opposed Stalin. They died because they had obeyed Stalin in a manner which it had now become expedient to terminate and silence....And in his show trials the dictator was as often settling scores with his allies as with his enemies. He was also, almost always, covering tracks." DOUBLE LIVES, SPIES AND WRITERS IN THE SOVIET SECRET WAR OF IDEAS AGAINST THE WEST. Stephen Koch, The Free Press, 1994, Page 328.
THE ROOSEVELT & TRUMAN ADMINISTRATIONS.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt was as hoodwinked as anyone in regard to the placement of high officials in his administration who were members of the ACP. He was totally and completely hoodwinked as proven by the fact that he always referred to Josef Stalin as "good ole Joe".
As I have written elsewhere neither the Republican nor Democratic party had the vaguest ideas on how to deal with the depression of the 1930's. Most of the ideas came from the "Brain Trust" in the White House.
One of the members of the Roosevelt personal "Brain Trust" was Adolf A. Berle.
He was a card carrying member of the ACP who had been a member of the Columbia University faculty. You will be delighted to know that he (1) invented the withholding tax and (2) invented and sponsored the graduated income tax (the higher your income the higher your Federal tax rate, now emulated by almost all states and a fixture in federal tax policy).
More than 200 employees of the State Department were dismissed for security purposes.
The designer of the Norden bomb sight at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds was an American spying for the Soviet Union.
This list could be materially increased but by now you should get the point: there were communist party members throughout the American government. These communists were engaged in espionage against the United States. They betrayed their country. They were caught and jailed but many escaped to the Soviet Union.
All these people started their espionage during the Roosevelt administration and were caught and jailed during the Truman administration. Harry Truman was never told about the infiltration of the American communists in his administration. He was kept in the dark intentionally by the American bureaucrats because to reveal the presence of the communists would have revealed our own penetration of the Soviet Union!
