Toilet paper, yes, for now. Milk, no. Meat, yes (my own production). Chicken, yes (my own production). Corn meal for human consumption, no. Running water at the house, no. Electricity, yes and pretty stable these days because the pueblo is now hooked into a PDVSA line. Sugar, yes (for my bodega). Coffee, yes, at least for a while. Rice, yes (for my bodega). Spaguetti, yes (bought for the bodega).
As you can see, what normally would be considered an everyday-product by others, is considered a luxury here. Welcome to socialism, price controls, and a gubmint that will take care of all your needs.
And, like OT and The King, nothing is this gubmint's fault. It's always the opposition's fault. NEVER accept responsibility, NEVER. Which is why I keep telling you guys that the parallels between what's going on here and what I see developing in Amerika are striking.
