A new size champion, fell in Aurora, Nebraska, on June 23, 2003. It has a diameter of 7 inches (17.8 centimeters) and a circumference of 18.75 inches (47.63 cm). However, the Coffeyville stone remains the heaviest U.S. hailstone in the official record, at 1.65 pounds (0.75 kilograms).

the heaviest hailstone ever documented from across the globe weighed 2.2 pounds. Multiple hailstones this size fell over a part of Bangladesh, India on April, 14th 1986. The hail storm reportedly killed over 90 people and 1600 cattle.

I'm only going to say it once, so listen closely. :wink: We are doing cartwheels and backflips because two inches of rain fell in the last two days. It all came down gentle and nice. Maybe now we can drain our firefighting sprayers before a big hard freeze comes along. :)

We had 2.8 in the rain guage this morning. Thats the biggest rain we've gotten in quite a few years. Sure glad it came as rain and not snow. God is just sooooo nice! :D

Hope he takes pity on us and sends some more. :)

YUP!! sw drained our firefighter, need to take it off the pickup and replace it with the CAKE FEEDER

Cows will sure love us soon as we can get some cake.....

We've been sooooo scared about fires, now we can put the firefighter away, I don't think we'll hit 90's again until next year....

Have had 1.75 inches since firday morning. Had a light drizzle on friday morning and had to set up portable corrals next to county road so we could get steer calves shipped out. Glad they are gone, let it rain some more:)

Dumped the raingauge yesterday afternoon , 4.5 inches ,put a little water in some dams. Stacked the last load of hay just as it started to rain sure was fortunate to get that done before all the muddddddd!!!!!!!! :D :D
