I live in NJ,.. and hadn't heard much, if anything on the news about it until today..

Essex County authorities have charged 29-year-old Ali Muhammad Brown with killing Tevlin in a West Orange intersection on June 25. Since being taken into custody on July 18, he has confessed to the murder, along with three others in Washington state, saying they were carried out as retribution for innocent lives lost in Iraq, Syria and other parts of the Islamic world.

Ali Muhammad Brown, 40, is quoted in charging documents as saying that he they were “just kills” and that he was “just doing my small part” as a self-styled jihadist.

how often is it that a serial killer wannabe doesn't make the news... :?

chilling,.. how a cold blooded killer can walk amongst US and we are at fault if we cross the street of look over our shoulder as to avoid them..

We will bankrupt ourselves in the vain search for absolute security.

Though force can protect in emergency, only justice, fairness, consideration and cooperation can finally lead men to the dawn of eternal peace.

Too bad we don't have any Eisenhower types around anymore....

what you can't find a few decent men like Mitt Romney or Rand Paul who would stand up to the party elite and lobbyist and do what is right for the country?

the country has many potential leaders.. if we could just break the deadlock the parties have on the national politics...

instead.. some old codgers just vote in the same guy and mock those who are actively fighting for change...

Of course it's the Bundy's we really need to watch.

Now we're talking newsworthy, and an organization worthy of taking up arms against. They're devout Christians, you know.

From what I've read or been taught, Christians are not expected to be perfect. Haven't we all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God? Yet, because he died for our sins, we can be forgiven, if we confess and ask forgiveness for our sins.

And wouldn't the world be a safer, more pleasant place if only more people lived like the Christians we claim to be?

I apologize if you didn't detect my sarcasm. You might want to review some of the earlier Bundy threads.
