Oh boy. How did you find that out and what does it do? And did you mean my post (now deleted) or the name of the new poster?

Enough suspense yet?

I commented, in a new thread, on the newest poster's name and Martin Jr. said "Don't click on it, it's a bad virus."

So I deleted the thread that I started in case Martin knew something that I didn't know.

That's all I know as no one has told me anything else about the newest poster.

Is that any clearer? :???:

O.K. to start at the beginning, I noticed the name of the "newest member" on the forum index pagew this morning, "lovely03" from Chicago, and started a thread commenting on the name. The title was "the Newest One".

Soon after I did that, Martin Jr. started this thread saying not to click on the one I started because it's a bad virus. So I deleted my thread, not wanting to unknowingly cause any problems.

And that's my story. :)

I will explain what happened.
I had spent 2 hours the day before on the computer at work, trying to delete "Windows Police Pro", a virus. Thought I had it all finally deleted, tried several sites, including Ranchers and everything worked. This morning, I clicked on that post and the "Windows Police Pro" popped right up. Seems some of it stayed in the computer somewhere. So not your post.

I guess I was getting a little paranoid, my computer at home crashed about three weeks or so ago. Hard drive failed. Lot of time reloading software after installing a new hard drive. Then my Quicken was too old to reload, so ordered a new one and it was shipped out by the scenic route.

We got into a mess several months ago and uninstalled and re-installed Windows numerous times to clean it up. It turns out it was in our exe files. So ya can't be too careful!!
