Soapweed, how many more cows do you have left to calve and when will you guys start branding?

Crazy day here, around 3ish or so it was in the mid 80's with NW Iowa in the mid 40's. Cold front came through here with not a drop of rain and in a few hours, the temp dropped nearly 30 degrees, however, just to the east there were tornado warnings with minor damage reported. Yikes, just reading reports of tennis ball sized hail in Waterloo in NE Iowa.

About 200 to go. We might brand one bunch of 180 this coming Friday if our plans fall into place and the weather cooperates. With our system (or lack thereof   ), we are quite flexible.

I'm only about 5% calved out and you guys are already talking about branding! :)
