SEBASTIAN, Fla., May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As previously disclosed, eMerge Interactive, Inc. (Nasdaq: EMRG) is considering alternative strategies relating to the development, marketing, and sales of its services. As part of this process, eMerge today announced that it has retained AgriCapital Corporation and B. Riley & Company, Inc., in a joint engagement, to advise management and the Board of Directors regarding a variety of alternative business strategies intended to improve shareholder value. This engagement is intended to cover a broad range of options for management and the Board of Directors to consider. Among the options to be considered will be to continue to implement eMerge's current plans and strategies, and, potentially, to consider pursuing prospective capital sources, investors, acquirers, licensees, and/or merger partners for all or part of its business. No decision has been reached regarding any option, and there can be no assurance of success regarding any alternative strategies that might ultimately be pursued.
 
Yup I will agree you are right on at this post ;;;;;Looks like Emerge is about out of $$$$$$$$$$$$. Their system is a motor scooter with training wheels !!!!!!!!!!!

That could happen to any private database system- One bad deal or lawsuit and they are filing bankruptcy or reorganization and all the database info is in limbo or tied up in court for years-- Another good argument for why the government(s) needs to set up and run the National ID system and databases.......
 
That might be true but look where USDA got us,In deep dodo.You got to remember that the Gov. doesn't build data bases ,they just use them till they are obselete or wants a different one.
 
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!! Scooter with training wheels........are you related to Larry the Cable Guy?!!! Oltimer, like I said it may not be the best, but it is better than anything else out there!
