Obama: Time for Rangel to end career "with dignity"President Barack Obama has kept mum on the fate of Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) for days -- but he tells CBS News that it's time for the embattled 80-year-old former Ways and Means Chairman to end his career "with dignity."
"I think Charlie Rangel served a very long time and served-- his constituents very well. But these-- allegations are very troubling," Obama told Harry Smith in an interview to be aired on the "Early Show." and first broadcast on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
"And he'll-- he's somebody who's at the end of his career. Eighty years old. I'm sure that-- what he wants is to be able to-- end his career with dignity. And my hope is that-- it happens.

I find myself agreeing with Obama - Rangel has got to go. The dignity deal is already shot, but it's time for the crook to go.

Maxine Waters time is up too.

Just think, three black congress people who get caught with their hand in cookie jar within one year.

Tell us something?

Time to Go to prison just like any other person would if he/she cheated on their taxes. And joining him should be Turbo Tax Tim, and a few others in the Obama administration. Want to bet the only thing left in making the deal to get him to resign is what he is going to get or where he is going to be appointed to once he resigns with his DIGNITY. :x

DIGNITY -that would take some one with a bit of humility and some belief in basic right and wrong. These two have the feeling they are ENTITLED to every thing they have begged, borrowed, strong armed, and in the end will sit on their fat backsides and rail to the heavens that ANY ONE who thinks they are not owed something for their great service to no one except themselves is a plantation owner of the highest order.

Anyone wanna bet?? :p

Rangel needs to be shown the door, but a public trial in the fall, just before elections might be better than a quiet exit.

obama wouldn't want that, I wouldn't think.
