Some reasons why the English language is hard to learn...

as a young girl in school, I remember wondering why the plural of mouse was mice, but the plural of house is NOT hice!! :???: :wink: :shock:

I always hated English when I was a kid. I could have cared less about verbs, nouns, etc. I guess it shows in my writing! Anyway, I finally did figure out one thing in my old age. I believe I know what they are talking about when they spoke of 'dangling participles' now! :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:
