The calves have been sold, cows worked, and I'm down to wrapping up a few fall projects. The weather has been unbelievably mild, with NO wind, so I've been taking full advantage of it... especially after last winter  :p .

The two-year olds produced nice calves, and only 3/68 didn't breed back :D .

A couple of steers :) .

The steers ready to go to their new home  .

Bred heifers

Must be REALLY good water here

This year's heifer recruits :D

Gotta keep the smart red heads in the herd for leadership  :D

Here's the twin to Justin's 814 :)

I'm excited to see how the heifers out of the two-year olds turn out, I'll be calving out some of their sisters this spring.

A few of the bred yearlings are serving as babysitters to their younger sisters... I didn't have any older cows handy, so they'll have to do.

I had to put Ed (middle dog) down last week, he had cancer. It sure is tough not having my good friend/co-worker around after 12 years. Ranch dogs have the greatest life though, and that dog fully enjoyed everyday he had.
