Seems like it's time for fall pictures here on Ranchers, so here are some pics of some of our heifers I took the other day. There were still quite a few over the hill I never got picture of. Some of the heifers are large walking chunks of "velcro" due to all the cockleburs they found. They seem to be growing out pretty good. They have had excellent grass this year to gain after their rough winter. We're preg checking next week so we'll see how they bred up.

Cool Water, but it isn't real clean.

This is my favorite one, we'll see what I think in another year.

Eating some cake, they are cake broke now, sure makes handling easy.

Nice set of hfs. You never really know what you have with hfs until they raise a calf. That's when I like to do the real cull.

Those burrs are sure a bugger, we have some and even more this wet year.

Is that tank on a pipe line or a spring?

Looks like a very nice set of heifers! I would love to be looking after a set like that of my own right now. Thanks for posting them.
