Just wanted ya to know we made it home safely, and how much I enjoyed meeting you and Dave. I so appreciate you both sharing your knowledge with us, and helping Lil Lilly with her horses.

Ya'll this is one REALLY SWEET SWEET WOMAN!!!!!

hehe Really enjoyed the "pie crust" making lesson last night while you taught Dave how to do it.

How was the stockyards in Ft Worth????

The Ft. Worth Stockyards is probably a really neat place. Today it was filled with BIKERS!!! Yes! Motorcycle bikers...looked like the Sturgis Rally, Texas Style. :p

So we wandered around a bit, and then headed back home.

I was so glad to meet you, Mr. Lilly and Lil Lilly!! One of the highlights of my trip. I'm so glad it didn't rain and deter you from coming. Dave was soooo pleased with Lil Lilly's horsemanship and he said she listened really good. He said she did so many things right, that there wasn't much to help her with. She's a fine young lady.

And she's got a great set of parents.

I'll sure be waiting to see what develops with Cash.

I'm headed back home tomorrow morning. It was so warm here today, it was almost too warm for this northern girl!!

Better be sure you have your jacket handy when you get off the airplane when you get home.

I don't remember what town it was we went thru comin home, but their bank temp said 80 degrees at 4pm.

I have to tell you this, Jersey Lilly. Right now, Dave is mixing Divinity...and it isn't making. He is on his knees in the kitchen in front of the mixer (looks like he's praying)

...and he just said, "It isn't making". :?

Yeap clouds and humidity will ruin a batch of divinity every time...it just sorta stays gooy, and never sets.

That's one of those things that I hafta plan for......pretty sunny winter day=candy makin weather. Same thing goes for peanut brittle. If it's humid or cloudy it'll turn out more like a peanut patty.
