You all are going to be so sick of me that you will be begging Macon to get CT up and running asap :p

How can you tell I am bored to death it is freezing cold outside and my chores are done..

So what is/are your favorite warm me-up drink when you come in from a chilly day of chores or just relaxing by the fire on a cold winters night ?

I like a steaming hot mug of non decaf tea my favorite now is a mix of vanilla and jasmine. If I am really chilled to the bone and am not going anywhere and chores are all done etc. then I will have a stiff shot of Drambuie. When hubby and I are out together and come back in he wants hot chocolate made the old fashioned way on the stove with real milk and whipped with a whisk so it gets fluffy.. If we are not going anywhere and are done for the day we add a little Irish cream to it..

What are your "warm me up" go to drinks ?

Sounds like nothing but a bunch of drunks on this site, but I'd have to agree that nothing warms up the ole body better than a stiff shot of whiskey!! :p :p :p :p

Tea.

If real cold add a shot of 190 proof Bella Coola Homebrew.

I like tea but in the cold one cup equals about 2 pee's.

Anybody know what you do with Root beer Schnoops? Besides drink it straight.

give it to someone you don't care for, and let them drink it :?

That's why the homebrew. The old feller that makes it says the only thing in the bottom of a whiskey bottle is a pair of boxing gloves. :D

No hot toddy fans yet ??

I like them but they take too long to make.. 8)

What exactly goes into a "hot toddy"....I always thought that pretty much any drink that was hot and included alcohol was considered a "hot toddy"??

I agree but my dad makes an awesome toddy and I think that is why I like Ice fishing and snowmobiling with him so much.

He makes his with ,brandy, rum ,tea, with a touch of cloves, nutmeg, lemon, and a good dollop of honey.

Notice the first two ingredients .... they made up most of the toddy..

The eggnog that is available on the supermarket shelves this time of year is pretty good stuff. The trouble is, it's hard on my figure. Go, figure.
