Feds withdraw controversial child farm labor proposal
6:29 PM, Apr. 26, 2012

The U.S. Department of Labor has withdrawn a controversial proposal that would placed more stringent rules on minors' work on farms.

"The decision to withdraw this rule -- including provisions to define the 'parental exemption' -- was made in response to thousands of comments expressing concerns about the effect of the proposed rules on small family-owned farms," the Labor Department said in a written statement. "To be clear, this regulation will not be pursued for the duration of the Obama administration."

But Hey after the election is over all bets are off as Obama pulled back on making cuts to Vet health coverage the first time he proposed it too but he has come back proposing it against. So look for these regulation to be re-proposed as his agenda of regulating every aspect of US citizens life will be pushed forward once he doesn't have to worry about re-election. :x

He'll have more flexibility, that's true

What I fear is his flexability will bankrupt the US and every citizen in the US if he is given another four years. :x
