Hi Feeder...

I'm watching SF news, and see the dew point in your area is 81 degrees...wow!!! Must be a little humid this morning, huh? They said your temp was 81 too (is it foggy?) and with that high of a dew point, your air temp would feel 7-10 degrees warmer!

Glad you're getting humidity, maybe that'll lead to moisture!

Cheers---

We're not that humid but we are at 40% at 95 degrees so it is a little sticky. We got .5 of rain last night so maybe it primed the pump a bit. Was nice to see that rain to cut the fire hazard. We haven't had any fires real close but listen to all you guys fighten them makes the seem closer. We have just been lucky I guess.

81 is a nasty dew point t deal with.. Espically when it is 81, feels like you are walking around under a waterfall or something.... Heckl we are 87 degrees with a 74 dew point.. Getting a bit sticky, of course this is the type of weather that can really fire off the storms out of nowhere in the late afternoon.

We don't have the humidity, but we sure have the heat- 103 degrees right now- humidity only 14%...Temp warmed up fast today- especially down here on the river... I was up riding on cows early this morning- done by 10AM and headed back toward town- temp up there was 83- by the time I drove 15 miles to town the temp had jumped to 93...

I was going to just hibernate in the air conditioning- but I just got a call from my farrier- he will be thru this afternoon to reset the horses  Now that kid is tougher than me to be shoeing horses at 100+ temps...

Yep, it is humid. Last night, I thought it was downright miserable. We were at the races and it was kinda funny watching people (including myself) try to pull the bluejeans out from clinging around the buttocks!! I didn't notice fog this morning. I'm staying in the air conditioned house today and catching up on bookwork and house chores. We had 5 grandkids here for the past 3 days so there is alot to do and redo. Also, everyone in SD and southern Montana be on the lookout for a "young" couple on a blue trike. We are heading that way Aug. 6th for a week of sightseeing.

Dew point is creeping up here and the t-storm watchs are popping up..... Nothing like the heat and humidity of mid summer to fire off sporadic thunderstorms around here.. Hope it works out for you getting some moisture Feeder, I need to head out to southwestern Iowa soon and I am hearing that they have been pretty dry lately too...

We are only going to be at Sturgis a couple of days. Going to some little town on Montana/ Wyoming border by Yellowstone to meet some old army buddy of our group. Highway 212 will be our route. IL rancher, hope you get rain, we had a tiny bit 3 nights ago, enough to settle the dust in the yards for a short time.

Hw 212 will really give you some native atmosphere- Lame Deer, Busby, Crow Agency (Crow and Cheyenne Reservations)-- And you can sure see wide open spaces in the Alzada, Broadus, Ashland section... Watch for sheep or antelope on the road during the day and deer at night....

OT, it has been quiet some time since I have been through all those towns. I don't believe I have been on 212 since they improved it. That has got to be many years ago.

I'm probably the only idiot that ever missed the junction of 88 north of Broadus- the only junction or light in 100's of miles  ...Coming back from Nebraska one time- planned on going thru Miles City on home-- partner was sleeping and I was flying low at about 90+ and the next thing I know I was in Ashland...Decided to just go to Billings, go out on the town and spend the night....

OT, I started laughing with what you wrote. The husband asked what was up. I told him what you wrote. And he said "he's right that is the end of the world" He got cattle out of there many years ago. 5 trucks traveled around 200 miles on gravel roads. That was one of those trips you don't forget! Have a good night.
