AUSTIN May 4, 2011 (CBSDFW.COM/AP) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is defending its decision to refuse to provide more assistance to Texas after devastating wildfires, which have scorched at least 2.2 million acres since November.

Might be that Obama doesn't like how Perry has talked about him, yet the "one" continues to accept Texas resident's FEDERAL INCOME TAXES????

In times like these a state income tax might be beneficial. Keep the money in the state and individuals deduct it from the FEDERAL income tax bill.

maybe they didn't want to loan FEMA money to Perry with all the talk of leaving the Union.

He'd skip out on them if he did.....

FEMA's money, really where do they get it from????
Has Texas not paid into this fund? Why can they not get thier money back?
Kinda like the bank telling you its thier money and no you cant pay your bills with the money in your savings account.................

The united States makes money off of Texas, not the other way around.

4 cents on every dollar paid in Federal tax, never makes it way back to Texas.
