Your democratic front runners won't pull out even by the end of their first term. You still voting for them? How are they promising more than President Bush? You sure hate his position.

Dems Can't Make Guarantee on Iraq Troops

Thursday, September 27, 2007 9:29 AM

HANOVER, N.H. -- The leading Democratic White House hopefuls conceded Wednesday night they cannot guarantee to pull all U.S. combat troops from Iraq by the end of the next presidential term in 2013.
"I think it's hard to project four years from now," said Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois in the opening moments of a campaign debate in the nation's first primary state.
"It is very difficult to know what we're going to be inheriting," added Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.
"I cannot make that commitment," said former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina.

Surely the Dems have come up with a "PLAN" by now?
Their only plan seems to be: Bush sucks. That's all they ever talk about. I'm not sure they've figured out he's not even running...

Yeah, destabilizing and sending the whole Middle East into absolute chaos, and putting much of the world's crude oil reserves into the hands of true madmen could be detrimental to the libs poll numbers....and you know how they like their poll numbers.

I believe there will be US troops in/around Iraq for a long time, like South Korea, Germany, Japan and several other countries. That will have to be negotiated (remember that word?) with various governments in the region. But I don't believe we're going to have 100,000 troops over there at the end of 2009. Or that we'll be spending $10-12 billion a month. Look at what we could be doing with that money right here in the USA. The Pentagon will have plans ready to lay out for the next president for withdrawal. Gates is already working to find ways to cut troop deployments back to 12 months and give them more at home time between rotations. You know, like the Democrats tried to do this week. But those Republicans continued to "support the troops" and refused to give them the rest they deserve. Have you seen the estimates for re-equipping our military after this fiasco? Or the estimated medical costs of treating wounded veterans for the rest of their lives?

And now we find out that Bush told the Spanish president that no matter what Saddam did, we were going to war with him!

Perhaps the front runners need to ask some of the members of this forum what the solution is.
Seems to me there are a lot of "I hate Bush" people here that seem to have all the answers, no matter what the subject is.

So here is your chance to help your favorite candidate out and supply the answer.

That's just a guess. Do you have any thing to back up your idea. You know, like a stated plan to draw down troops? Show us the Hilliary plan. Surely she's not more concerned with raising our taxes to governmentalize healthcare than she is about winning the Iraq war.
