For all the errors Bush made in his 8 years in the highest office, I honestly beileve that every decision he made he did so in the belief that it was right for the country, and right for the circumstances under which he was leading. I don't recall a single instance where I believed he was putting himself above the interest of others.

I wish I could say the same for the next guy.

A bank robber thinks he's robbing a bank for the right reason.

A murderer thinks he's killing a person for the right reason.

and on...and on....

Come one whitey, you can do better than that drivel...................

Thanks for proving my point Kola. The average bank robber is not robbing the bank to give the money away, is he? And the average murderer is likely to believe he'll benefit in some way from the death of his victim.

Having said that, if you'd like to prove me wrong with some concrete examples of Bush doing what was right for Bush and Bush alone, I'll keep an open mind. Should be easy for a bright lady like you to disprove my drivel.

wonder what rummy's up to?

mebbee in storage unit with loopy?

Bush didn't golf after he sent troops to war. Didn't think it was right for him to be on the golf course enjoying himself while soldiers sacrificed. :?

You miss the part where he delayed the return of a carrier--to land on it wearing a flightsuit (in the backseat--he could only prove he was in texas air guard by showing he'd showed up for a dentist appointment)--to huge 'mission accomplished' banner?

most powerful military nation world has even known kickin ass on 3rd world country is hardly an accomplishment. Nor is leaving that country in total chaos at the expense of billions of dollars and way too many American lives.

O'bama is an inept dope. Iraq is bushie's mess.

That carrier was in San Diego harbor dumbass and the sailors hung the banner saying THEIR mission was accomplished.

On October 1, 1973, Bush was honorably discharged from the Texas Air National Guard and transferred to the inactive reserves in Denver, Colorado.[7] He was discharged from the Air Force Reserve on November 21, 1974, ending his military service.

Congress approved the Iraq war unanimously. Some donks who voted against it on the 1st vote requested a second vote even after it had passed so they could vote "FOR" it !!!! They were allowed do so.

Bush was here near me in the early 70's while in the ANG. He was in a friend of mine's platoon/company - whatever - for a while because I've seen the pictures of them together. Harold said he was a pretty good pilot and really good guy. But I will have to say that none of them ever dreamed he'd be president one day. Cause he was just a normal guy........................

We can assume that Mike would recognize both a young George Bush and his personal friend in a photograph. Personally, I'll take that any day over....some Keystone pipeline execs sat next to me at the local watering hole and told me if it wasn't for the Nebraska greenie weenies and NIMBY's....blah blah blah.

I KNOW one guy in the picture is my friend and the other is Bush. Kind of hard to mistake it either. In fact, I'd say it's impossible to mistake who they are. This not about knowing someone who knows someone. Not even close. Did you even read the article? He WAS in the ANG here.

Why is Bush's military service being questioned? Why not read up on "Slick Willy's" awesome efforts to avoid military service that went on for years.
