I usually get cake delivered to my overhead bin with a semi that blows the cake in the bin. I can get cake for a fair amount cheaper from a different place, but I would have to auger it in the bin. If it matter I have a 10x71 auger with a swing hopper. Will the augering grind the cake up too much? It would save about $20 a ton if I had to auger it in the bin.

The trick is buying cubes or cake or pellets from a company that knows how to make them so they don't turn into fines the first time they're run through an auger. The ADM mill in Grand Island makes products that will handle it.

The Brand "P" products I've seen in this area, especially their creep feed, I would refuse delivery on. Fines, fines, and more fines.
