We got a package of hfrs out of the corral today. Took them to a pasture up town. :D It's only 80 acres but it's mostly Crested with a touch of alfalfa left. Not growing vigorously yet but enough old stuff and a little green should make them happy.

I know it made me happy to get them moved. :D

Sure nice to get them onto some easier feeding! Unless you do it Denny's way . . .

Moved mine over to another paddock yesterday, not for the grass that's there, just so I don't plow them under. The sod strip they were standing on was getting kinda narrow . . . Farmin', farmin' . . .

:D :D :D

These heifers are in with their mothers and siblings, and aren't very impressed with the arrangement. They come to feed, then off to their own area for the day :D . Hopefully they'll still be easy to collect when I need to sort them off before breeding.
