Welp, the long awaited A.I. calf #1 arrived last night. About 8:30 in the evening and 55 degrees, my little sister's cow decided to deliver a week early. Nice little Angus bull calf out of OCC Homer. Weighed up at 80 pounds. I'd like to send a special thanks to the cow, OCC Homer, and Harold Miller for making this calf possible. :D Here's the little boy this morning.

To tell the truth, a mite busy these days. BMR, you always have an awesome comment. :D Ya, I hope he turns into a good bull for sis. Looking forward to many more of them.

The wind was blowing the satellite dish so hard yesterday my post never posted. Congrats. You must have hit the bullseye. You are on the way...

Thanks again. The barometric pressure dropped like a rock last night and it was cold, too. So cold that I woke up to a blue heifer calf this morning. :D Has frost all over her face, down her back, and on her tail. Another OCC Homer calf out of one of my commercial heifers. Pretty tickled. Weighed up at 70 this morning.
