First two loads of calves came in this morning. We are a little late getting them in this year.

I got some calves in a few years ago that made me need a backhoe before I finally got them straightened out, but I'll be damned if I'd jinx myself by having it there when they unloaded.

I hear ya, we don't do nothin without one though. These are already straight (I hope). Last year out of 541 we last 4. Hope it's that good again.

That's plenty good. If they come from the same place, I wouldn't worry about them. They look green and ready to go to work for you. Good luck with 'em.

Looks like a pretty good bunch of calves. Let us know how they make out. I am not sure where this winter you speak of is hiding?

We've had four frost. That's winter.
Got another load tonight and two more before Thursday, then finish up after thanksgiving. I'll put up some pics when we start feeding in a few days.
