Well the big day is here..........Poor Kaitlyn. LOL
I hope her culture shock is not too big. Going from a school that has 180-260 students in a grade to a school of 250 K-12.
Met her Teacher last week :D She is new to the system and seems really nice. LOL I say met her Teacher hmmm well there is 20 6th graders.
Kaitlyn was all set to go to "middle school" but here this year its 4-6 graders in with the K-3rd graders.

We shall see who is more nervous once I drop her off. I have always been in the school since her brother started school........... :?

I love the fact that our kids attend a school that has an average total class size of 24 kids!! My daughters upcoming graduating class will be 25 kids!!! Lots of one-on-one and they all know and watch out for each other!! Our kids start back on the 23rd of this month while many in the state don't start til after labor day, but we also get out fairly early in the year.....graduation for demodriver will be May 20th

Sent my "baby" off to Miles City for her second year at college yesterday- she left about 2 weeks early thinking she could get a head start on the good jobs...

we start school on the 23rd, so 9 days i think. our class has between 40 and 50 kids, each grade varies. they're changin a whole bunch of stuff at our school, though. time sure goes fast during the school year, but the summers seem to drag on forever. never thought i'd say "i cant wait till school starts!!". Montana Fair is happenin now too, the 11th-19th. last year we spent it with demo driver and ranchwife, and had lots of fun. think we might head on over to billings tomorrow, sw's man has a doctor's appointment so might as well go!

Alpine, AZ started on 8-2......... Seems terribly early to me.....

Reserve started on Monday. The bus came by about 7:09.........lol

Al's friend, Benjie, starts at the Blue School on the 28th......oh, wait, he has a doc appointment to do a check on his compound fracture, so he'll start about the first of Sept.

Al began his senior year when his first course arrived last month, he's over half finished with it now. It's an Electrician course. I think he'll probably do the Vet Assistant course next. Then the Automotive Mechanic, Small Engine Repair and finish up with Home Inspector. I fully expect him to be out of high school before 2006 is over.

My mother would always be so glad that school started back and get me out of her hair for a few hours a day. I was a very bad kid. Mother did the best she could with me. She wore a belt hanging around her neck to whip me with cause she got tired of hurting her hand whipping me. I got several whippings a day. In first grade I got one every day with a bolo paddle.
Yep she was glad for the brake.
