Senility and old age :???: Or years of being a chauferred kept man :???:

Most the poor common folk I run with can not only tell you make, model and year- but also all the filter numbers each outfit takes...

I guess if you don't drive and don't fill up at the pump- that may account for why he thought folks were just whining about the economy
 :( :(

Does McCain even drive a car anymore?

Saturday, August 23, 2008
Last week, McCain couldn’t remember how many homes he owns. Now, Think Progress points to a 2007 interview when he not only didn’t know how many homes he owns (in the interview, he was only willing to admit to two homes, when the real answer is at least seven), but amazingly he didn’t know what kind of car he drives. Instead, he had to ask a nearby aide, who replied “A Cadillac CTS”.

Who doesn’t know what kind of car he drives? Does he even drive anymore? How old do you have to be before they take away your license?

And what kind of person drives a Cadillac CTS, anyway?

I'm 43 and I didn't know what our van was when I needed to order parts the other day. I knew it was a Ford, but that was it. No biggee on McCain.

Obama was supposed to be a Constitutional Law teacher, and he can't answer a question on the Second Amendment. Thats where the concern should be.

I am surprised you know what kind of a car you drive seeing how you spend all the time on the internet finding things to cut and paste.
But at base price of $34420 that is close to some of the so called economy cars on the market today!
And with fuel economy of 17 city-27 highway it certianaly is better than some others.
So what is your problem?
Why does it bother you so much that he drives a better car than you do??
If that is the best you can do with all your searching , why can't you answer the questions posed to you in a couple of other posts? Or have you realized you are getting in deeper and deeper with every post?

You are the expeert in law (SELF PROFESSED) yet you ask how old one has to be to have your license is revoked?
Especially if you have someone else driving for you!!!!
YOUR words chauferred, OPPPPPS another screw up by the wizard of his own mind
You want to know who drives a car like that? Well i suggest you look at the reviews the car is getting from those that do. Or does that not fit in your agenda of finding some thing to worry yourself with?
Poor old gloom and doom is worried about senility, in McCain
Oldtimer might start worrying a bit about your own failing memory!!

Yeah, too bad McCain isn't more like you common folks in Montana. That's okay, though - your boy Obama probably has a lot more in common with you Montana ranchers.

From the September 2007 GQ:

"A few weeks prior, I was with Obama during a swing through New Hampshire, where he rented a Sunseeker RV, loaded up his wife and two little girls, and “vacationed” in the state’s scenic North Country, all the while being trailed by a busload of photographers and reporters, numerous staff vehicles, and half a dozen Secret Service agents. Despite the phoniness of the trip, there was one candid moment that ever so slightly suggests the distance Obama may need to come in winning over the beer drinkers. We stopped at a picturesque redbrick general store—“America’s oldest”—to photograph Obama and his family as they bought sandwiches and fudge and played with a puppy. As Obama stood at the counter paying, he looked quizzically at...."

I'm gonna pause it for you here, Oldtimer. Give you one last chance to quit reading. Obama's in a country store with his family trying to make it seem like he's just a regular guy - that's really good enough, right? There's really no point in finding out any more about him - he's a regular guy just like you, right?

Since you think Obama has a lot in common with you Montana ranchers, I don't want you to embarrass yourself. I'd advise you not to read any further.

Okay, for the rest of you, where were we? Barack Obama - regular guy/Montana rancher-type - is in a country store with his family looking like a regular guy. And he's looking at...

"....a display of trailer-hitch covers dressed in the guise of moose and turkeys. Turning to the phalanx of cameramen and reporters, Obama bravely wondered, “Who knows what a hitch ball is? This is a hitch-ball cover. We don’t know what a hitch ball is. Anybody know?” A cameraman politely explained that it’s the silver thing on the back of a truck used to tow a trailer. “Oh, I see,” Obama said, looking as if he was doing a mental calculation about whether this was one of those moments the press would use to make it seem like he’s out of touch."

Thanks for the tips on material, Oldtimer. I had almost forgotten about that story until you reminded me. You really make this stuff easy.

At least Obama's young enough to still have a drivers license and be able to drive

Honestly now--- how many folks you know that don't know at least what Make of vehicle they drive :???: That tells me that Mr McGigolo does little or no driving in his vehicle--and is probably chauffered everywhere he goes.. Either that or he's so senile he forgot... Just what we need- another politician forgetting even the name of an American car...

Side note- back before all the imports- and what I call the "bastardization" of automobiles- we used to play a game and see who could tell the make of the outfit first as we met them from their front view or from behind by tailight shapes....I got so I wasn't often wrong...
Now they look all alike.....

Honestly now, I don't know any. But then...I don't know anybody that rides a train to work every day like Biden supposedly does, either.

And I will readily admit that makes McCain sound like a dumbass.

Honestly now, how many folks do YOU know that don't know what a hitch ball is? Will YOU admit that makes Obama sound like a dumbass?

Yep-- but I bet you could find a lot of city folks that don't know what it is- or at least what its called...Over the years I've seen some of the smartest people educationwise that were the dumbest when it came to doing everyday activities...

"Yep-- but..." That's your answer? You can't just admit that he's a dumbass without trying to qualify it and make excuses for him?

I don't have any problem admitting that McCain is a dumbass about some things. I don't have any trouble admitting that McCain is a loooooong way from being my favorite. Why can't you liberals just admit that your guy is a dumbass without trying to make excuses for him? :???:

Why didn't you tell us earlier that driving is one of the things that is most important to you in choosing a President?

How 'bout this guy?

Or maybe now you'll decide that driving isn't so important after all?

Nothing like making up something to bitch about. He's a Senator, and running for Pres. with about a thousand different issues to contend with and he's supposed to give a sh__ about what kind of car he's driving, which he probably didn't even have time to pick out on his own. If you've ever been around someone that really has alot on their plate, you'll probably be surprised at how many inconsequential things they don't keep track of.

Like number of houses you own :???: Just little inconsequential everyday things like that..

"Oh by the way Ciny Lou- I spent some more of your daddys fortune on another house- How many does that make now? And in your travels just have someone pick us up a new caddy " :???:

If someone caught me offgaurd and asked how many houses the Misses (she takes care of that) has tennants in I'd have to stop and think for a minute. It's not something that I'm really interested in. I'd hope that someone running for President would focus on what's important to the nation.

A new Caddy like he's driving starts at 34,000. That's less than the cost of most new pickups, and basically inconsequential to him.

Yep like he is real stupid!!
A senator, running for president, a pilot, a pretty your wife that just happens to have a fortune, yep that makes him stupid, LOLLOLLOL.
So stupid he can't remember how many houses he and his wife owns, or the make of car he is riding in this month, supplied by the secret service, so stupid he gets the opposing party so wrapped up in making jokes about it, that voters are getting turned off and tossing their votes his way, Yep that makes him  stupid
Wonder how many of those forgotten houses are in his name and not missus'

Look "ma" we can turn more voters away from supporting us by harping on how many houses he has and the kind of car he drives. and that wanna be J.P. in Montana can beat another dead horse

Once again, as I said about the house thing, WHO THE HELL CARES. I have many more important things to consider about who's going to be president. You marxist libs, aka "progressives", are going to have to find something more then this. If I wanted all this "change" I would fly a Soviet flag at my home. Yeah I want some things chaged, but not the way he wants to change things.

This shows you how far left these people have gone supporting Barry O. If this was the 60's, McCain would be a great democratic candidate.
