First Rodeo

Well I took Ty and two buddies about six hors south to their first high school rodeo of the year this weekend. Saturdau the boys were a bit rusty and they all bucked off. Sunday Ty's bull ran him back off his rope and got him off at six seconds. He made a good bronc ride to win the rodeo but one judge said he was an inch low on his left foot and flagged him for missing it out-a bit of a chute fighter so not entirely cool with that call. Ty's only been flagged three times in his life and this guy has thrown two of them-we hardly rodeo in the association he judges in but guess were stuck with him for a few more high school rodeos. There's some god little hands down in the Wrangler division-the timed events are tough there. Friday we have a 450 mile drive to the next one-all six roughies are going so the minivan will be loaded for sure. The weekend after that is a bit furthur and then the May long is furthur still lol. Then it's back home finally!!!!

i presume that was at Eastend?
Good luck the rest of the way to Ty and his friends. didn't quite get if Ty won the bronc riding or was marked as a MO? (sometimes in the wrong company being good at something makes being good at it a bit tougher)

I kind of like the Baxter Black quote of "I used to ride bulls until my brains grew in".

No it was at Fort Qu'Appelle-first rodeo there on a private place-I think it was called Clearwater Arena-a really nice facility and the stock wasn't too bad. Correction six hours south lol. Ty was the only guy that rode and would of won the broncs but he got flagged. Hoping his bareback rigging gets up here soon-hopefully the Texans at Barstow can find the border to ship it here lol. Kennedy, Sask is next weekend.
