First snow of the year (last Saturday)

Well, we had our first snow of the season last Saturday. My son John (in the gray coat and pants) and the neighbor boy couldn't wait to get out in the snow. Little did I know that John was going to take the snowball and aim it right for me, even though I had my wife's camera with me!

Actually, most of my immediate and extended family are Husker fans. We had a "real" snowstorm yesterday and extending into today, had nearly 4 inches. Been a real hoot listening to the scanner, people drive like idiots in this weather.

Poor John, he was up most of the night praying to the "poreclain God", he wanted to be outside soooooooo bad today, but rest was needed to be able to go to school tomorrow.

My parents brought me up in the light, the truth, and the glory of Husker Nation.

GO BIG RED, as it was, as it is, as it shall be. Amen
