One good thing about this time of the year-- the Flathead Cherries are ripe...Friend of my wifes just brought back 2 big old boxes of cherries from the Kalispell area (Flathead Valley)-- nothing better...I'll be pitting cherries for weeks

do you have my address so you can send me one of those boxes??!! I will gladly free you up from one....or even two!!  I am NOT a cherry fan, but those big, black Flathead Cherries are simply the sweetest, best there are!!!! Can't wait to see if we are going to get some around here! I know that the Farmer's Market in Butte has been advertising heavily that they will have a shipment on Friday....hmmmm.... may have to make a road trip!!!!

My mouth is watering. My inlaws used to go out and pick cherries there almost every year and they were generous with them when they came home. Wonderful!!!
