Lawrence Summers, a top economic adviser to President Barack Obama, pulled in more than $2.7 million in speaking fees paid by firms at the heart of the financial crisis, including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Corp. and the now-defunct Lehman Brothers.

He pulled in another $5.2 million from D.E. Shaw, a hedge fund for which he served as managing director from October 2006 until joining the administration.

Thomas E. Donilon, Obama’s deputy national security adviser, was paid $3.9 million by the power law firm O’Melveny & Myers to represent clients including two firms that receieved federal bailout funds: Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. He also disclosed that he’s a member of the Trilateral Commission and sits on the steering committee of the supersecret Bilderberg group. Both groups are favorite targets of conspiracy theorists.

And White House Counsel Greg Craig earned $1.7 million in private practice representing an exiled Bolivian president, a Panamanian lawmaker wanted by the U.S. government for allegedly murdering a U.S. soldier and a tech billionaire accused of securities fraud and various sensational drug and sex crimes. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0409/20889.html

Wow! Obaminator certainly has some interesting friends. It seems like criminal tendencies are all a person needs to qualify for a job in the Obama administration.

Did anyone actually believe it would be any different? A product of the corrupt Chicago political machine is going to bring ethics to D.C.?

Funny you ask that...

Apparently, some here thought that it would be different. Here are some quotes from Ranchers.net from before the election. All of these are from one person, I might add. And although they sound alike, they all came from different posts - I haven't used any of them twice.

we need "CHANGE"...

Time for "change"

We need "CHANGE"....

We need "CHANGE"......

That needs to "CHANGE"

Time for a "CHANGE"

We need a change...

We need "CHANGE".....

Time for a Change....

we need a CHANGE.....

We need CHANGE...

The only hope is a Sweeping CHANGE.....

We need a "change".....

...bring in some fresh faces, new ideas, and some major "Change".....

We definitely need a change......

...vote for a "Change"....

It was quite apparent- they want "change".....

I'd say its time for the "change"...

I have to vote for "Change"...

I am voting for CHANGE.....

their will be CHANGE in D.C...

now its time for change....

"CHANGE" is coming...

We need a "change" in directions....

This country needs "CHANGE"......

We need a change...

Looks to me that somebody didn't just drink the Koolaid, they fell in the flipping vat!

Obama is a great man. It's almost like there has to be five of him to achieve all the accomplishments and great things that he has done in his life. The fact that only one man is responsible for all those great deeds shows that he truly has to of been sent here by a higher power. God bless us, each and every one!
