Don't worry, OT. I know the way. Mr. FH and I drove up there in 2010
and met the very nicest ranch people! We even have places to go when
the time is right.

Please don't worry about us. We will be fine. :p

the libs won't let the conservatives move. They need the conservatives, who else would they leech off of. The rich libs won't pay their taxes.

We don't know what hoops and rules are in USSAR. We've been watching how to become foreign citizens, its real easy.

Valley County, Montana is continually being given a black eye by one of its occupants. Instead of looking down on Valley County for this oozing assumption that it is a bastion of liberal stupidity, we need to know that indeed the whole county isn't this daft. Here are the voting results from this past general election of 2012. The county is like most all of the Heartland of America, in that it came up decidedly "red" (conservative) on the political map of the United States.

Valley County, Montana 100.0% Reporting

M. Romney GOP 60.5% 2,337

B. Obama (i) Dem 35.9% 1,386

G. Johnson Lib 3.5% 137

Hop, I'm betting Oldtimer didn't realize he was lying or being lied to until election night and the results from voting in Valley County were known. I'm betting all those fine folks down at Oldtimer's sanctuary/waterhole were telling him they were voting against Romney. As you see there is no way better to keep the town drunk happy than to buy him a drink and agree with him no matter how insane you think he is. It is best when you think someone is a little unstable shall we call it, as we believe Oldtimer is by his posts on Ranchers, to just sit there sipping on your drink, smiling and nodding like you agree hoping he moves on to bug the next poor sucker soon especially when he is allowed to carry his Barney Fife sidearm to show off to all the lovely ladies. There is no fool like and OLD FOOL

Soap--like I said before there were no big surprises to me in the election- either local, statewide, or national... This county has floated back and forth on elections for years....
If anything tho I thought Johnson might take above 5% in the county...

Montana again proved to be a "purple" state- with folks voting for the individual and not blindly following a cult... While Romney won the President election- Bullock a (D) won the governors race- and Tester a (D) was re-elected US Senator... Daines an (R) is our new Congressman-- while the rest of the state races were split pretty evenly...

On the referendums - while they voted against mandated health insurance ( a vote that means nothing since Roberts SCOTUS ruled the Obamacare mandate constitutional- and federal law supercedes state law...) They also voted to require notification of parents of anyone under the age of 16 before allowing an abortion...

Then they turn around and again slap the Roberts court and the Republicans in the face with an inititative charging Montana elected and appointed officials, state and federal, with implementing a policy that corporations are not human beings with constitutional rights.

Nice to see Montanans can and do think for themselves... :D :D

The other nice thing about Valley County that you forgot to include Soap was the voter turnout- I think I heard it was around 80%... :D

i think as far as the gov's office and senate seat montana's didn't think for themselves. when they are voting on a referendum or specific issue they do and show their real selves. why in the heck would the MT voters do what they did on the referendums when the people they voted against were the ones that supported the referendums that passed (i got my own personal opinion on that) - only taking out the corporate rights initiative. i just hope as a state we limit unions in the same way if we are going to with corporations. so if the referendum on obamacare is a moot deal why even have it on the ballot.

edited to add: i hope MT fights obamacareless tooth and claw
