Ok....most of you tried and true Rep's are against immigration /reform as I hear most of you say " out damn Mexican", " kick'em all out"....etc etc.

Most of you Rep's support John McCain as he's the ' annointed one" and your ' only hope' as Soapweed claims.

That being said.....have you seen the new web site of McCain's that is TOTALLY in Spanish ??????

I thought the Rep line was if you're in this country....speak English!!!

Some of you better email McCain...he missed that memo!!!!

The pundits on TV were getting quite a chuckle out of that too....He's trying to be a Republocrat..

The Zillion dollar question now is-- what are these NEW Republican values and what is this NEW Republican platform :???:

Lou Dobbs was tearing McCain a new one too- saying that he had totally flip- flopped again and now was promoting major immigration reform (amnesty) instead of border closure like he was after his Bush/Kennedy/McCain bill got shot down the tubes- and he claimed he'd learned his lesson from the outrage of the public....
Dobbs question was if he can't take and keep one stand on that one issue- can we trust where he stands on any of the issues :???:

Yep the Libertarian or Constitutionalist candidates look better and better every day (whoever they are)....

I for one am outraged about him doing it! I pointed out my outrage a year or so ago on here when I found out my state congressmen had the same thing.

Point you miss on this message board and life in general is that Conservatives do become outraged and speak out against Republican blunders and screw ups. That is why you see so many conservative talk show host coming down on McCain.

Liberals on the other hand do not show their disgust for Democratic policies or legislation. I can not remember a liberal on here ever saying a bad word about a Democratic political move, us conservatives do it all the time.

Conservatives have bashed Bush, McCain and other Republicans on here.

Liberals will not even acknowledge that Bill Clinton should have did more to get Bin Laden and the terrorist that attacked us some 5 or more times under his watch.

You liberals are the ones that stay the party line, conservatives fight for conservative values rather they come from Republicans or Democrats.

The Mexicans don't bother me much at all. It is all those who are crossing the Red River who impact my culture and way of life.

I am totally against building an iron curtain in the U.S.

McCain isn't my man either. He's just my party's choice. He is a demo in sheep's clothing.

That's how I feel about it.

Ok you seem to refer to me as a liberal and I just go with what I think and hardly ever have a clue if it's a democratic or republican idea.

Believe me, what you "think" is pretty much pure quill Liberal.

But you are right that you "hardly ever have a clue." :)

In my own defense, I just submitted my ballot in the mail (we do not get to vote in town this year, as the county is saving money by mailing out our ballots), and I voted for Ron Paul. This will do no good, but it made me feel better. Believe me, though, in the general election where it counts this fall, my vote will go to John McCain, who has a whole heck of a lot more going for him than does his Democrat opponents.

Hey, Soap....can you bring yourself to vote for Johanns for Senate? I can't in any way shape or form, and WON'T, even if he makes it through to November.

He never finished as Mayor or Lincoln, he never finished as Governor, and he never finished as head of the USDA.

I heard Scott Kleeb on KRVN last week, and he sounded pretty good.

I like Raymondo's (sp) business experience a LOT, though. Primary is next week, I think.

I didn't vote for Johanns this time around, and much as I hate to vote for a D..............., I might be inclined to vote for Scott Kleeb if Johanns wins the primary.

Glory B- there is hope for some of you yet   :p

And altho I've voted for a lot more Repubs- I can tell you from past experience that you don't instantly turn into a leper or start wearing womens underwear, makeup, and speaking in a high pitched voice if you vote for a Democrat.....  :p :p

I'm in a good mood today- showers moving thru this afternoon- raining like and cats and dogs now in a little thunderstorm- and they are saying good chances for more all thru Thursday :D
