Fore-most head catches

Okay- tell me the drawbacks and negatives on the Fore-most A-25 automatic head catches....This spring I asked for ideas on what to buy- going to install it inside the barn so I don't have to doctor or pull calves in a blizzard by headlights anymore--- well today I was at an auction that had an almost new Foremost for sale and bought it- $400, which is about $250 less than I could get the same thing new from Billings... I was also looking at a portable loading chute with 21 panels that fit on the chute, but a friend of mine wanted it worse than I did...

Hot day for an auction- 90 degrees with a 20 mph wind...Tomorrow is supposed to be around 100- so I better start hauling bales at 4AM and be ready for siesta by noon....

This weather is quickly doing in the grass, waterholes, and some nice looking wheatfields...

OT,

Have never used their autohead but I will ask the neighbor.. We have their small chute set up and we each own "half" of it and we replaced the old auto with a manual one... I don't remember why.... It was an old chute and we stripped it down, did some welding and repainted it when we added the new headgate to it. Looked brand new... I stress the "looked"..
