Try:

www.pandasoftware.com or

www.bitdefender.com

couple other ones that are really good but just can't think right now....

I've had to much trouble with Norton running around in the system overriding programs etc. Causes way to much grief. Always run a program like spybot in conjunction with any antivirus. You will be stunned at how much is on you system. Did mine the other day and there were over 100 peices on the system. I am fanatical about running those program but my dear child insists on visiting addicting games and wham your system is loaded!

Kaspersky is good to.

Do you have a firewall? You need one to stop the entry well atleast slow it down.
Zone alarm has a free firewall or you can buy the suite which does firewall, virus, and im & email protection. Its $20 and well worth it.
Even if you just get the free firewall its better then nothing.

Haymaker, Sage is right you need a good firewall as well. I have both on my system a firewall and everything comes through a router as well. Did some more research for you and Kaspersky catches 99% of viruses. Roland has been looking for something for his computer clients and has settled on Kaspersky due to it's track record.

AVG is really a good one, and best of all, it's free! :D

That's what I use, and never had any problems, unlike when I had Norton installed.......
