Beautiful pictures BUT nope dont want it. I have to work out in the weather and I am NOT ready for the snow. Jersey babys have no body fat so they freeze to death real fast.
We should getting some in a couple weeks but all I can hope for is the wind to keep up and the snow to blow away LOL

Snow is sure a lot prettier when it lays still on top of the fence posts. Around here, the wind usually doens't allow this to happen. At least you are getting some nice "moisture."

But we already had lots of moisture before this showed up.

Its STILL coming down!! Been snowing all day, I don't know when it started during the night but there was probably 4 new inches when I got up this morning :( . So far there's probably 8 new inches today
I hope this isn't a repeat of '06 with 3.5 feet in one dump  .

I'll take it! Around here, any moisture is good. Send the hay too, OK.

You can have it!! I'll try and send it down. The hay though unfortunately has to stay unless you want all the ponies to go with it.  :santa:

Now would be a good time for spring
Its really not that cold out. Its a wet heavy snow and the temps were just above freezing all day. It can stop anytime now though. This is really interfering with my walks :x

Looks kind of like that here, only about 5 inches on the ground on top of a little ice left from the last snow/thaw/rain. Cows are still rustling, have lots of grass as long as snow conditions don't get worse. Not looking forward to feeding a month early for the third year in a row.

I'm sure all that snow makes for alot of extra work. But it sure does make for some pretty pictures!!!!!

Somehow I was not thinking about pretty pictures while I was pulling frozen net off of the bales yesterday. Made the mistake of bringing several days worth of hay home from the hay shed on Friday before it rained and snowed and froze . . . .

All these pictures of snow [deep snow] are gorgeous and greatly appreciated, but I also think it would be cool if the southern and southwestern ranchers could send pictures of their winter scenes.
