Not in Afghanistan. Link below.

"“AN AFGHAN man is being prosecuted in a Kabul court and could be sentenced to death after being charged with converting from Islam to Christianity, a crime under this country's Islamic Shari'a laws, a judge said yesterday.
The trial is believed to be the first of its kind in Afghanistan and highlights a struggle between religious conservatives and reformists over what shape Islam will take here four years after the ouster of the Islamic fundamentalist Taliban regime.”

President Bush has said "Successful societies guarantee religious liberty -- the right to serve and honor God without fear of persecution"

In spite of spending several billion $, I guess we can't consider Afghanistan a successful society, can we?

Not over night NO. These things take time. Even you can admit that right?

How long should it take?

What things take time? The Iraqi Constitution puts the country under religious, not secular laws. Do you seriously think the Iraqi clerics are going to let that be changed?

Islam's peaceful solutions:
1. Kill Infidels
2. Kill Islamists who change religions
3. Kill women who commit adultery
4. Kill anyone who displays a picture or likeness of Muhammad.
5. Kill anyone who writes anything against Islam
6. Kill anyone who doesn't believe Islam exactly like you believe.

As you can see Islam is a peaceful religion.
