Freedom to what?

There was a news story here in SD today about the Democratic candidate for governor Dennis Weiss(sp). He formerly worked for the SD Farmers Union.

Anyway his thoughts are that it should be mandated that ethanol and other fuels made from grain should be sold something like every 40 miles along Interstate 90. I don't know if the state of SD, or who is going to own these service stations. I also think if he succeeds and gets this plan in place we might as well pass a law that says we have to eat beef 3 times a day on all the days of the week that start with the letters S and T.

What do you all think about mandating something like this? I think the free marketplace should rule myself.

Sounds like a desperate er I mean Democrat in SD. The crazy things politicians say to get elected ought to get them committed

Exactly!

Dems are always looking to the government to solve their "PERCEIVED" problems.

You don't force ethanol on consumers, you simply prove that its a superior product to fossil fuels IF IT IS.
