Fresh Lad Calf

Just started having A'I calves heres a Lad heifer calf thaty's pretty fresh-he looks like he'll calve well the first few just squirted out.

Seriously though, I realy liked that black baldy Lad calf in the other string a few days back. He looked like a real groundpounder.

Nice to reassure me of no white clear up to the hocks... Whew!!!!!!!!

What are you doing calving already? Isn't this early for you? Your green sure looks nice. I think you have a heavier soil than we have by the looks of things. We have at least 3" of topsoil here. lol.

I know it is May in Canada. :eek: :wink: Just thought you started most of your herd in June. Have a good one. 8)

May looks a bit better for me-I still have my home raised crew at home for A'I'ing in August and I'm not into the bush yet in May. In a wet year that bush is hard to navigate on horseback.
