Taking in bred heifers to give them their permanent identification tag number, a year brand, and the first Scourguard 4KC vaccination

We'll let this bunch eat while we do the ones in the corral first.

The black Ritchey tag is their new number. We leave their calfhood tag in place just because sometimes it is convenient to know their mother.

Some of these are heifers I bought in October of 2009. At that time they averaged weighing 581 pounds @ $94.35 per cwt,
to cost right at $550 per head. They came from a reputation herd, and the heifers hadn't been topped. Hopefully they will
turn into some nice cows.

Good crew for the day; my wife, my sister, and my son.

A couple nice young men came to put up a new windmill head, wheel, and tail.
