Friend says Abercrombie told him, 'There is no birth certificate!'
Jack Cashill

During an interview on the KQRS morning radio show on January 20, Mike Evans, a long-time friend of Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie, shared a conversation he had with the governor the day prior. The reader is advised to judge for himself the credibility of Evans' account, but he sounds convincing.

Evans, Honolulu born and now a Hollywood-based celebrity journalist, claimed that Abercrombie had promised him that he when he became governor, he planned to find absolute proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.

When Evans spoke to Abercrombie on January 19, Abercrombie reportedly told him that he searched the relevant Hawaii hospitals using his powers as governor, and concluded, according to Evans, "There is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii." After Abercrombie made such a fuss about finding the birth certificate, Evans concluded of his friend that he has "got some egg in the face."

Curiously too, when Evans asked Abercrombie when he first encountered the young Barack Obama, Abercrombie reportedly said, "I remember him playing in a T-Ball league," when he was roughly five or six years old.

The reader may recall that Abercrombie had told the Los Angeles Times just before Christmas, "Maybe I'm the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, ‘I was here when that baby was born.'"

A few days later, Abercrombie clarified to Mark Niesse of the Associated Press that he didn't exactly see Obama's parents with their newborn son at the hospital, but that he "remembers seeing Obama as a child with his parents at social events." Of course, Obama Sr. had left for Harvard four years before young Barack was T-Ball eligible.

In the Obama rabbit hole, things do seem to get progressively curiouser and curiouser.

seems to me that the easy answer is that Obama should just show his birth certificate.... why has he spent millions to hide a document that we all have anyway??

Good question but the only answer you are going to get from a Liberal is I DON"T CARE HE IS OUR PRESIDENT SO DROP IT YOU STUPID BIRTHER.

I believe they don't care, they don't care about the US Constitution or anything that resembles laws that might say this far leftwing fraud is sitting in an office he is not qualified to be sitting in. Anyone that thought Ambercrombie would actually provide anything needs to shake their head as the law is the law and the Governor of a state can not release any private documents without the permission of the person involved and Obama has spent years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep his records hidden, which makes any promise Ambercrombie made moot.

I wonder if they classified the Associated Press as "birthers" in 2004?

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The problem might be that they narrowed their search to much.

example, if they limited it to Aug 4, 1961 and the few days around that date they may not be looking in the right month.. (hint February) , or even the right year , but I wouldn't go to far out on a limb,

If they broaden their search, they may find more annotations.

and they may be looking in the wrong place.. she may have lived in Honolulu, but mad a discreet trip to another island of place.

example,.. she claimed to be married in Maui,.. and was seen soon after the alleged date in Seattle..

so if they broaden the search dates, (59 - 63) and location to all of Hawaii, and all of the islands , then they could confidently say Boy Dunham was not born in Hawaii,,

Doing research is about actually doing the work.. and using common sense.. you need to understand what you are researching, and start at what is known as FACT and then narrow it down.

we know Stanley Ann was a story teller..

we Know she went to Hawaii in 60. and wasn't showing at that time.

we know she was in Seattle on August 19, 1961 with a baby..

so looking beyond that is only a distraction.

Boy Dunhan Feb 2, 1961 to Boy Obama Aug 4 1961, Hawaii to Seattle, and the time in between is the Unknown.

and that is if you are only looking at the immaculate birth,..

Remember the Hawaiian election official that said the there was no BC?

Seems he is willing to sign an affadavit to that affect.

"We called the two hospitals in Honolulu: Queens and Kapi'olani," Adams stressed. "Neither of them have any records that Barack Obama was born there."

seems as if the crowd is gathering and will soon demand to see the King's clothes.. :D :D

Maybe a search for Barry Soetoro might turn up some results. Would adoption and a name change, mean an amendment to the BC?

Supposedly Hawaii has already said that there was an amendment within the vital documents.

what amazes me is you will believe this about Barry Soetoro but not believe the govt would lie and coverup 9/11...it is only because barry is a democrat...if he was republican, i believe you would not buy it...

barry is an illegal and 9/11 was an inside job...both are true.

I was interested in the outcome of the McCain birth issue too. It was an issue before obama's BC issue.

The "friend" now says he misspoke

A celebrity journalist now claims he misspoke when he said last week that Hawaii’s governor told him he was unable to find President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate after a search of state and hospital archives.

Mike Evans told FoxNews.com on Wednesday he was remorseful and embarrassed that he appeared to have given the impression that he had discussed the search for Obama’s birth certificate with Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie.

Evans, who says he has been a close friend of Abercrombie since the 1980s, appeared on Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week and said he’d been told by the governor himself that Obama’s birth certificate was nowhere to be found. Evans told KQRS on Jan. 20:

"Yesterday, talking to Neil's office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ..... there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii."

But that’s no longer Evans’ story.

“Only this I can you tell you is 100 percent fact: that Neil never told me there was no birth certificate,” Evans told Fox News. “I never talked to him.”

Last week’s radio interview was part of Evans’ syndicated five-minute feature, “On the Road with Mike Evans,” which is broadcast on 34 stations across the country each morning.

On the morning of Jan. 20, Evans says he accidentally told one of those radio stations -- KQRS -- that he’d spoken directly with Gov. Abercrombie about the Obama birth certificate.

“I was on 34 radio stations that morning. That was the only station where I said, instead of saying ‘the hospital said there’s no birth certificate’ I misspoke and said Neil said that,” Evans said. “I misspoke and I apologize for that. I apologize to Neil.”

Abercrombie’s spokeswoman did not respond to Fox News e-mail and phone requests for comment.

Evans says he first noticed the story on Jan. 18, when he was reading an online article with the headline, “Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate.” The article cites an interview with a former Honolulu elections clerk who says records of Obama’s birth could not be found at either Honolulu hospital.

“Halfway down the story it said the long form certificate was not on file at the two hospitals,” Evans said. “It says the hospitals say there’s no birth certificate and says Neil says he couldn’t find it.”

Evans said he continued reading other reports online, including one that quotes a former Honolulu election official as saying no hospital has been able to find Obama’s original long form birth certificate.

Evans says he then placed a call to Abercrombie’s office in Hawaii to follow up on the reports.

“I called Neil, but Neil never called me back,” Evans told Fox News. “I haven’t talked to Neil since he’s been governor.”

In 2008, the Obama campaign provided a certification of live birth -- a shorter form document that bears the same legal weight as the more detailed original certificate of live birth -- to prove his eligibility to be president. That has not quelled calls by those who have asked for the president’s original, longer form birth certificate, which they maintain would more clearly prove his status as a natural-born American citizen.

The U.S. Constitution stipulates that only “a natural-born citizen,” or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of the President.”

CNN Poll: Less than Half of Americans Believe Barack Obama is an American Citizen.
January 18, 2011 11:24 AM EST

In yet another example of the ineptitude of the Obama administration, a CNN poll reveals that less than half (42%) of Americans believe Obama was actually born in the US. Despite protestations to the contrary by his toadies on the left, the president has NEVER produced his actuall birth certificate. Rather the administration pointed to an internet representation of a birth certificate alleged to be his, that would take a clever 12 year old approximately 7 minutes to create on Adobe Photoshop. The administration has bungled yet again an issue that should have been a slam dunk for them. Rather than produce the document and end the back and forth, the president made a political calculation that, painting the so called "birthers" as right wing nuts would be a net gain for him. Turns out he was wrong again (surprise surprise). While prior to his election less than 25% of people doubted Obama's birthright as a US citizen, that number has been steadily increasing since the election. CNN's poll shows that now a clear majority of Americans Have at least some doubt about the presidents citizenship. This is not minor. When a large majority of Americans doubt the presidents legal authority to govern it is a serious issue, and no amount of whining and caterwauling from his rumpswabs on the left at MSNBC and NPR is going to make it go away. The fact that, despite a growing segment of the population doubting him, he refuses to make a public a document that he claims to have in his possession, is puzzling. That it is hurting him politically is no longer questioned even by the Obamabots at CNN. As far as I can tell there are only two explanations for it.

1. The president doesn't care what the voters think and his basically giving the nation the middle finger.

2. He doesn't want it released because it is not as he has claimed fromthe beginning. He is not a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution, and as such would be susceptible to immediate impeachment and likely inprisonment.

Try as I might I can not come up with another plausible explanation for this. I'd love to hear one if you have it.

Only 42% of Americans are definitely certain Barack Obama was born in the United States. 29% would only say they think he probably was. That leaves 27% who think Barack Obama was at least probably born elsewhere.

How did such a large percentage of Americans come to doubt a sitting President's birth story? The fault lies with President Obama. For some unknown reason, he has refused to release the original long form of his birth certificate. Obama has released a computer generated short form (see above) from Hawaii and there is a record of his birth announcement in two Hawaiian newspapers. This post from the middle of last year addresses some of the reasons there people who still have questions about Obama's birth. Of course, Obama could clear this up today by releasing the long form with the hospital and attending physician's name. He most likely has the original document. He wrote about it on page 26 of his 1995 book "Dreams of my Father."

“I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school,”

The real question Barack Obama may be trying to avoid is his 'natural born citizen' status. Presidents are required to be 'natural born citizens' under the Constitution. President Obama's mother was an American, but Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject. The Constitution is murky on what exactly was meant by 'natural born.' The purpose of this requirement was to prevent people with divided loyalties from becoming president. The founding fathers didn't want people with loyalty to another country, mainly Great Britain at the time, to become president. Since Obama would have held dual American-British citizenship at birth, he would seem to possibly be in the category our founding fathers intended to exclude. Of course, the British are our allies now and this provision seems archaic to many. There were also questions in 2008 about John McCain's 'natural born' status, since he was born on U.S. territory in Panama. The Senate passed a resolution affirming their belief he met the 'natural born' rquirement. Barack Obama's status was never discussed by the Senate. Since the law is murky, the issue would now have to be resolved by the courts. They won't touch it with a ten foot pole because a finding that Obama isn't a 'natural born citizen' would overturn a popular U.S. election of the first African-American President.

How many more are going to sign on as disbelievers before the Courts force Obama to release his Long Form BC.

I certainly would not have limited my search to just BHO,.. you use all the perimeters you have, Dunham, Soetoro Obama.. it may even be listed in Barack's actual fathers name..

a friend posed a question.. .is Stanley Dunham listed as the father?

funny.. but who knows..

before the election, I had a little doubt,.. with out evidence and facts any reasonable person would have doubts.. but over the last two years, his fairytale has fallen apart.. and at this point I am convinced he has not told the American public the truth..

I am also a bit disillusioned that every court so far has rejected the case based on standing.. that alone should outrage every American..

we have the aclu fighting cases every day they have no "standing in"
yet citizens are turned away..
