The current Administration and current Congress have done essentially nothing to change this flow of illegals, except blow smokerings- and the above quote is the exact reason...We have the best administration, bureaucracy, and Congress the Corporate World can buy :(

Too many uninformed voters who only listen to touchy feel good sound bites.
Also if a person can not figure how to mark a ballot or punch a button...................they are too dumb to vote...........and shouldn't

Americans will do any job. It might require more pay, but they will (some will) work for the right amount of money. It might even get some of these lazy Americans off welfare.

Ok but who says those companies hiring will pay more money?? If they are forced to because of fewer workers how will the work atmosphere be??? Just wondering.

Who knows but they are here illegally . I see no other stance to take. Should we let anyone come here that wants to work for less for the benefit of businesses? I don't see how we can do that .

Good point. My other question is why don't ranchers have to adhere to the same standards as other businesses? Why can they work their help more then 40 hours a week and do not have to meed federal minimum wage requirements?

Is this 20 questions? I have no idea. I think the 40 hr work week is stupid. If someone wants to work 60 hrs per week with no overtime, I say let them. Good for them.

Just to clarify the question was to everyone I was just trying to find an answer and thought perhaps some of the forum knew. Who in their right mind would work 60 hours a week with no overtime if overtime was offered? :???:

Overtime is offered at several jobs yet agriculture has several employees that prefer to work doing ag work instead of going to town and working on the line where they'd get overtime and benifits. It's enjoyable work. My answer to your question is anyone that works in Ag fields.

It all depends upon if an employee is salaried or hourly compensated. Being in ag. doesn't make a difference.

..they are just ways for marginal employers to fill crews...and drive down wages.....it all goes to supply and demand......

but then employers who break the law probably lie on thier taxes, cheat thier customers. and much more,,,so if they lose thier business because they built it illigally why should we care if they go under because we stop thier cheap subsidized labor...?

as for jobs Americans won't do......many of the Jobs, from meat packers to construction were done by Americans before they were layed off and replaced with illigals, it would created a better job market,

and if the employer is that bad no one will work for him, let him do his crappy job himself then......that will humble the boss.....

.
