What the?

Cool Canadian high pressure will settle into the Midwest this weekend. The result will be high temperatures in the mid 60s to lower 70s and low temperatures dipping into the mid to upper 30s in places across the north Saturday night. A few spots may see some patchy frost across northern Iowa by Sunday morning. The cool weather is expected to stick around into mid next week.

We've been getting some beautiful weather-- high 70's low 80's (77 today) ....Forecast for the next week is mid 80's--which is making everyone harvesting and haying happy....

But it has been getting a little cool at night- and you definitely want a vest early in the morning...Down in the 40's and 50's for lows- with a couple nights that dropped into the 30's...Everyones hoping that the frost will hold off so the late seeded wheat can get cut- but if the price of wheat keeps dropping it may be worth as much as hay if it does get frosted :???: ...

Certain parts of the western prairies have been known to get frost and snow in any summer month - nothing new here

I guess I shouldn't be surprised about this cold spell as Summer in the Midwest has been anything but normal

Good to see that we are not the only ones who have had an "odd" summer!!! If it has not been cold and rainy, then it's been hotter than hades!! One day it will be mid 90's and the next day in the 60's with nothing but cold rain!!! :???: :???:
