Most leave in the fall, but these guys stick it out!

My moomama told me that there'd be days like this!

No problem to them the wool keeps them warm.

They say this birds wise, much smarter then most
Then why is he out there in the wind, freezing on a post?

Yes it's located along one of our creeks just a couple miles north of the place. I noticed it a couple of years ago and also posted a pic of it last year on Valentines day.
All my pics are taken from the confines of our little corner of the prairie.
Not exactly a photographers paradise out here compared to your and others neck of the world,(Nicky) but it's still fun sharing.
