PA-------- 289------ 98,137------------- 15,907------ April-August
WY----- 1,390------- 3,409--------------- 5,892------ January-August

I was looking at these figures I just saw today of the % of people that identify themselves as Repubs- and some of the state new voter registration numbers that go heavily Democrat--- and then thinking about the reflections on the Repub Convention...As I noted earlier on here- the Convention almost looked like a Country Club Retirement Home for old grey haired white folks- with few young people or minorities involved...

What does this mean for the future of the Republican Party?
Will they be able to recover with more and more of younger generations becoming so much more tolerant on many issues that the current party base opposes ?
And the fact both candidates are talking about fast tracking as many as 20 million new mostly minority immigrants toward citizenship- which have historically predominately voted Democrat- which with the Dem controlled Congress will surely pass this time :???:

So, how does it feel for an old guy like you with some "supposed" sense, to be riding in the same boat as all the young minority immigrants that are too young and inexperienced to show much sense? You and they all seem to want something for nothing. You all want to snarf freebies from the public trough. You, of all people, should realize that there will be no resources in that public trough if good hard-working American citizens are taxed to the point they all throw their hands in the air and say the heck with it. :???:

There may not be any resources to even have a country- or any country- if we keep following the direction of the past 7 1/2 years.....

There will be more resources if we continue with this direction than there will be if we veer clear off towards Timbuktu if Obama gets in charge. Mark my words.

and some of the state new voter registration numbers that go heavily Democrat---

in a state where the majority is democrat (or liberal) such as New Jersey.. often the only way to really have say is to change parties and vote in the primries,

by voteing in the primaries we can elect moderate democrats, that hopefully will chage the leftist trend that has infected them

in the general you can still vote for the moderate rep, but if he loses at least you not stuck with a leftist...

I just wish more consrvative living in liberal areas would switch parties.. so we can moderate the democrats..

OT - For the last couple weeks you've been flappin your big keypad mouth about how bad McCain is and how Obama is the saving grace. So... since this is a site for cattlemen, ranchers, farmers, ect I'm going to give you a chance to give me and the others on this site specifics on just how Obama is going to positively affect this group. No cut & pastes, no Jay Leno jokes, just specific areas where he is going to improve our way of livelyhood.

Indoctrination in the public school system and universities.

At one time teachers would be unbiased and you had a real difficult time telling which political party they were in. Now it's a whole new ball game.

Also, the % of Dems as a whole has barely gone up, it looks like these people leaving the Republican Party are not crossing lines, but becoming democrat. I myself call myself a conservative more then I do a Republican due to the direction the party has been headed. This pick of Sarah Palin is a sign of hope.

Don't forget the old saying......Figures lie and liars figure. ANY poll, test data, etc., can be prostitited.

I don't think I've ever said Obama is the saving grace....

Noone or nothing could be worse than the past 7 years policies- and McSame just echo's more of the same...Not sure if Obama, Barr, Baldwin, McEnulty, or Paul would be best- but none of them can be as bad as 4 more years of tearing down the rule of law- usurption of the Constitution- and leading us toward Corporate Fascism that has been advocated by Bush....

Although I am sick & tired of all the cartoons and junk acusations I was playing the devels avocate and giving OT and the others if they wish, to give some solid reasons what the Democrats have on the table that will help farmers, ranchers, and especially cattlemen.
Bush is NOT McCain. Palin is NOT Cheney. Obama is Not Clinton. The past is the past. We curently have a Democrat congress and they have had control for 2 years and they have NOT bettered our situation.
Paul, Barr, and any others you have discussed are not going to get elected so hold your discussion about Obama. You, all of us have made some good points of what needs to change in DC but what's on the table?
This is to prove that you have some solid knowledge or that you are simply a windbag of garbage.
I ask again...
What is Obama going to do that will make a positive effect for us?
