Pictures and poetry produce plenty of pleasurable platitudes. (ok it was the only P word that came to mind  )

What are you growing in those tubs on the left? Something that climbs on those branches?

Those are nice tubs. I grow tomatoes in the greenhouse in big mineral tubs, as well as a few cucumbers. I call it hail insurance!

I love growing things in tubs. I add coconut fiber to the soil. It helps hold water, so they don't dry out so quick.

We've got most of our garden planted now, but not without spending a lot of time watching weather forcasts. Still haven't put out the tomatoes and peppers, but the flowers are transplanted and most of the seeds are in the ground. Other than some rhubarb and chives, it's going to be a while before we have anything to eat from our garden.

I can hardly wait. :p
