Chicago values: Gay activists harass, chalk black street preacher at Chick-fil-A
On Friday, a group of gay activists surrounded, harassed and "chalked" an elderly African-American homeless man who was reading his bible outside a Chicago Chick-fil-A.
Sorock observed a group of activists that "formed around an elderly African-American homeless man, who was reading his bible while seated along a fence rail off to the side of the protest."
She noted that while some in the group debated him as he read his bible, others mocked him.
Toward the end, someone scribbled in chalk, "He's really gay deep down," with an arrow pointing to where the man sat.
Last week, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel said the values of fast food chain “are not Chicago values."
“They disrespect our fellow neighbors and residents," he added.
But it seems that harassing and mocking an African-American Christian are Chicago values.
No doubt, if the roles had been reversed, the incident would be called proof of bigotry and racism.
Well I don't think that I will be going to Chicago, if I or my family were treated like that man I would hit them so hard they would be sucking through a straw.
