Coincidence? Was the "fix in" long before Malihi's ruling? Is the "Chicago Way" now alive and well in Georgia? Was someone "bought-off"? Was "pressure applied"?

Eovaldi implies as much: "So on February 7, 2012, Georgia Secretary of State Kemp stated '... I find that the Respondent, President Barack Obama, meets the State of Georgia's eligibility requirements.' And a scant two days later, Obama's DOE finds the money to award Kemp's state a whopping $8.3 billion loan guarantee for a $14 billion nuclear project and license approvals not done in the industry in over 30 years!"

Coincidence or not, one thing is certain, with still more legal challenges on Obama's eligibility in the pipeline and the findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Cold Case Posse scheduled to be released in about a week, Barack Obama knows that he's not out of danger. He knows that he's still on the ropes and that's precisely why Barack Obama is still so desperately trying to make the eligibility issue to go away!

The Usurper-in-Chief, has the audacity to run for reelection to an office he may not have been eligible to hold in the first place. He's already spent millions of dollars to shut you down and shut you up. Is it unreasonable to ask if he's also willing to use your hard-earned tax dollars to "grease" the wheels as well?

Well Mr. Obama, you can run but you can't hide from this constitutional crisis of your making. You may want this issue to go away... and you've already shown, by your actions, that you want the Constitution to go away as well... but we're not going to give you the satisfaction! We're not going to let you get away with it and we have not yet begun to fight!

Those who wish to curtail the practice of "birthright citizenship" as part of effective immigration reform should take note of the Georgia decision -- especially members of Congress. Congress well knows, since many of its members have attempted to limit birthright citizenship with several proposed pieces of legislation over the last few decades, that Congress, and not the judiciary, has plenary power over citizenship law.

If a candidate, asked about his views on immigration reform and specifically the birthright practice, answered that citizenship should not be granted "solely by reason of physical presence within the United States at the moment of birth," would he be labeled "birther"?

It seems to depend on who's doing the talking, and when. Because that was a quote from Harry Reid's 1993 proposed bill.

In fact, one of the framers of the 14th defined the phrase as "not owing allegiance to anybody else." Non-citizen parents, even though they may be subject to our laws while in the US, still owe allegiance to their home countries, as do their children, no matter where born.
